Recreational Classes
The Recreational Gymnastics Program is designed to help athletes build confidence and have fun as they learn new gymnastics skills. We offer classes for a wide variety of ages and ability levels, allowing each athlete to learn at their own pace while developing strength, flexibility, coordination, and body awareness. Through instruction on all gymnastic events, athletes are challenged to grow both physically and mentally while building a strong foundation and a lifelong love for gymnastics.

Beginner Girls 1
Class Duration: 60 Minutes / $115
Beginner Girls 1 is the starting point for athletes ages 5 and older who are new to gymnastics. Students will be introduced to all four women's gymnastics events—Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise—as well as trampoline activities, strength, and flexibility in a fun, supportive learning environment.
This class focuses on building confidence while helping athletes become comfortable using gymnastics equipment and learning new movement patterns. Students will develop body awareness, coordination, balance, and foundational gymnastics skills such as rolls, handstands, cartwheels, basic vaults, hanging, swinging, and introductory beam skills. These fundamental movements provide the building blocks for continued success throughout our gymnastics program.
Classes are divided into ages 5–9 and 10 & Up so athletes can learn alongside others in similar developmental stages.
Beginner Girls 2
Class Duration: 60 Minutes / $115
Beginner Girls 2 builds upon the strong foundation established in Beginner Girls 1. Athletes continue refining the same core gymnastics skills while developing greater confidence, strength, consistency, technique, and body control.
Students will continue training on all four women's events while introducing more advanced drills and progressions that prepare them for future gymnastics skills. Athletes learn how foundational movements connect together—for example, how a strong run, hurdle, and cartwheel develop into a roundoff, or how proper body shapes and swings lead to more advanced bar and beam skills. As technique improves, students begin learning additional introductory skills consistent with the next stage of recreational gymnastics development.
Placement in this class is based on demonstrating strong foundational skills, body control, and readiness for more advanced progressions. Placement in Beginner Girls 2 requires successful completion of the Beginner Girls 1 curriculum or a department leader evaluation. Athletes with previous gymnastics experience are welcome and may be evaluated for appropriate class placement to ensure they begin at the level that best supports their continued growth and success.

Beginner Boys

Beginner Boys is the starting point for athletes ages 6 and older who are new to gymnastics. Students will be introduced to all six men's gymnastics events—Floor Exercise, Pommel Horse/Mushroom, Still Rings, Vault, Parallel Bars, and High Bar—as well as trampoline activities, strength, and flexibility in a fun, supportive learning environment.

Intermediate Girls
Class Duration: 90 Minutes / $150
Intermediate Girls is designed for athletes who have developed strong foundational gymnastics skills and are ready to combine those skills into more advanced movement patterns. At this level, success is determined by an athlete's readiness to learn increasingly complex skills, accept coaching, and demonstrate the consistency needed for safe progression—not by age.
Students continue training on all four women's gymnastics events while learning more advanced skills, skill combinations, and introductory routine sequences. Through progressive drills and increasingly challenging equipment, athletes develop greater strength, body awareness, confidence, and consistency while refining technique and preparing for higher-level gymnastics.
As athletes progress, they are encouraged to develop greater independence by applying coaching corrections, making thoughtful skill adjustments, and taking ownership of their learning. This approach helps build confident, coachable athletes with the strong technical foundation needed for continued success in gymnastics.
Placement in Intermediate Girls requires successful completion of the Beginner Girls 1 and Beginner Girls 2 curriculum, or a department leader evaluation. Athletes with previous gymnastics experience are welcome and may be evaluated for appropriate class placement to ensure they begin at the level that best supports their continued growth and success.

Advanced Girls
Class Duration: 90 Minutes / $150
Advanced Girls is designed for athletes who have mastered the recreational fundamentals and want to continue growing in gymnastics without pursuing a competitive team pathway. This class provides an opportunity for older and experienced athletes to continue challenging themselves, learning new skills, and enjoying the sport in a fun, supportive, and non-competitive environment.
Students continue training on all four women's gymnastics events while developing advanced skills, skill combinations, and event-specific progressions based on their individual strengths, goals, and readiness. Because each athlete progresses at their own pace, skill development may vary between events, allowing students to continue building confidence and advancing where they are ready.
Advanced Girls encourages athletes to take ownership of their gymnastics journey by setting personal goals, refining technique, and challenging themselves through safe, individualized progressions. Whether an athlete hopes to master a new skill, stay active, improve athletic ability, or simply continue enjoying gymnastics, this class provides a place to keep learning and growing.
