  • How do I sign up for classes?

You can sign up for classes through the Parent Portal. Click on the green bubble located at the top right of our website. In the portal, you can create an account, enroll, and unenroll from classes. If a class says "Invite Only," it requires approval from an instructor.

Your child will stay enrolled in their class until they move up to the next level, or you choose to unenroll them. If you need to take a month off due to another sport, vacation, or any other reasons, you may unenroll, then re-enroll when you are ready to return. If you unenroll, we cannot reserve your spot in class.

  • My child has previous experience and I think they should start in an invite-only class. How do I sign up?

Please call the office at (989) 692-0394 to schedule an evaluation. A coach will take your child around to each event, where they will be able to show off their skills. The evaulation should take about 15-20 minutes. Following the evaluation, the coach will notify you and the front office of your child's placement.

  • Do you offer free trial classes?

We do offer trial classes! Non-members may sign up for a class to try it out. While trial classes are not free, we offer a 100% money back guarantee after two weeks if you or your child feels that the class is not a good fit.

  • How does tuition/payment work?

To enroll in classes, you must have a credit card on file. Tuition is billed automatically, on the 1st of every month. If for some reason we are not able to run your card on the 1st, any payments made after the 5th will incur a late fee of $25.

Cash will be accepted for special events such as birthday parties, camps, clinics, drop-in classes, and private lessons.

  • What should my child wear to class?

Athletes should wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows for movement. Leotards are encouraged, and long hair should be tied back. Please avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, or jewelry. Please remove bracelets, necklaces, rings and hoop earrings before class.

  • Do you offer makeup classes?

Instead of offering traditional makeup classes, every enrolled athlete receives one complimentary Flex class each month to provide added flexibility for families. This means that during months with scheduled closures, athletes still have the opportunity to attend the same number (or more) classes throughout the month.

    How Complimentary Flex Classes Work:

    • Each enrolled athlete receives 1 complimentary Flex class per month.
    • Flex classes must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance through the front office.
    • Flex classes are based on space availability.
    • Athletes may attend a class in ANY Synergym program, as long as it matches their current skill level (A beginner gymnastics athlete may attend a beginner tumbling class).

    Example:

    • If the gym is closed for one week during a month with three remaining scheduled classes, your athlete can use their complimentary Flex class to still attend a total of four classes that month.
    • If a month already contains four scheduled classes, your athlete can use their Flex pass to attend a fifth class.

Our goal is to provide families with flexibility while maintaining consistent class structures and scheduling for all programs.

  • How do I know when my child is ready to move to the next level?

We have a full team of experienced and knowledgable coaches here at Synergym. The coaches will be monitoring athlete progress on a consistent basis, and will notify you when they are ready to move up to the next level. The coaches will also update each athlete's stars, which you can view via the Parent Portal. Thank you for trusting our coaches with all class placement decisions!

  • What certifications do your coaches have?

Before coaching at Synergym, all coaches are required to complete:

    • Safe Sport Certification
    • USA Gymnastics Safety & Risk Management Certification
    • Background Check

Here at Synergym we prioritize continued education. In addition to the required certifications, we encourage all employees to purse other educational opportunities to help them become better coaches, mentors and leaders.
